Rabbit Demolition Case Study - Worthing
In the first half of 2022, Rabbit Demolition completed site clearance and demolition works at the iconic Wheatsheaf pub in Worthing.
The pub, which was situated between the library and the council offices, was a big part of the Worthing music scene for many years. Having been built around 1835, it finally closed its doors in 2017.
After two previous development bids were refused, developers were granted planning permission in March 2020 to turn the site into three 1-bedroom apartments, two 1–2-bedroom apartments, two 2-bedroom homes and a desirable top-floor penthouse.
A stunning new development
After the new building work is complete, the bespoke development, called the Wheatsheaf Apartments, will feature modern open-plan living spaces, integrated kitchens, and luxury bathrooms.
With exquisite attention to details and high-end fixtures and fittings, it looks set to become one of Worthing’s most sought-after addresses when it comes onto the market in 2023.
